Deborah Creed grew up in Derbyshire and Nottingham. She studied Fine Art at Canterbury College of Art  (BA), where she was taught by Mali Morris (RA), Patrick Heron, and Terry Frost. She later attended the University of Brighton (Post Graduate Diploma in Fine Art). 

In 1986, she studied with artist Stass Paraskos at the Cyprus School of Art. She has worked extensively across the UK and Middle East region with solo exhibitions in Oman, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London, Brighton, among others.

Deborah currently lives and work in Cornwall.
